Gyms

People working out at the gym

You get access to UAS campus gyms with a Sports Pass, with a separate Gym Pass or one shift with Single Visit Pass. When using the gyms, remember always to check in before your shift by using OnTheMove mobile application.

In gyms, you mainly train on your own. Instructed gym classes are organized at some locations. In this case, the entire gym is reserved for group use and the instructor leads the class. For more information about instructed classes and their schedules, see the group exercise reservation calendar.

The gyms are compact, equipment and device vary by location. Limited number of people can train at the same time at the gym. In this way, the aim is to ensure that everyone has the opportunity to train without a long waiting time to get to use a certain equipment.

Please follow gym etiquette so that everyone can enjoy training:
  • Workout without strong perfumes
  • Prefer own headphones
  • Wear clean indoor shoes or socks
  • Protect equipment with a towel and clean up sweat drops
  • Leave the place clean for the following: take the equipment you used back to their places
  • Let other people train during your breaks
  • Report any defects or deficiences you find
  • Take other users into account – smiling and greeting is allowed
