The live streaming classes in Myllypuro’s Mirror Hall

The AV maintenance work has ended and suitable equipment has been found for streaming classes after testing in the early fall. We thank our customers for their patience. It is possible to participate in some of the classes both on-site in Myllypuro and remotely on Zoom in the future as well. 

The camera only films the instructor. In Myllypuro, the customers attending the class are not filmed. Please note that during the live streaming classes, the instructor instructs in front of the wall bars in the Mirror Hall. If you wish, you can see yourself in the side mirror if the curtains are open.

You can book a place for either implementation: Instructed classes, which are at the campus or Live Streaming, which is on Zoom. If you are unable to attend the class, cancel your reservation at least 2 hours before the start of the class to avoid sanctions. In order to follow admissions of online attendees it is recommended to sign in with OnTheMove application. Currently if you can not use OnTheMove application you will not be given a sanction for not signing in, however please reserve the class anyway.

You can join the class by logging into the Zone Reservation Calendar. Under the My Account menu is the heading External Links. Click the Zone Live Streaming link. Start the Zoom program. Enter the password written after the link to log in. If you participate in several live streaming classes in a row, you must log out and log in again for each class separately for music license reasons.

In Zoom, participants can comment on the class via chat or sometimes microphone at the beginning and/or end of the class according to the instructor’s instructions. In the middle of the class, the instructor is unfortunately not able to follow any comments, but concentrates on instructing the class. 

Live streaming classes are included in Zone’s sport pass. Recording classes, forwarding Zoom links and sharing access codes is strictly prohibited and may lead to sanctions. Live streaming classes are not recorded for customers’ use. It is only possible to participate in classes in real time.
