Dear New Student, welcome to use Zone Sport Services!
Zone offers versatile and affordable sport services for the students and staff of the Universities of Applied Sciences of the Capital Region.
Our sport services are located right next to your daily life as a student as we organize sport activities in six campuses situated around the Capital Region: Arabia (Arcada), Malmi (Haaga-Helia), Otaniemi and Tikkurila (Laurea) as well as Myllypuro ja Myyrmäki (Metropolia).
HOW DO YOU GET TO USE THE SERVICES?
You get access to our student sport services with a Sport Pass or a Gym Pass, which you can get from the student union service points.
For the students of Haaga-Helia, Laurea, Metropolia and Arcada the most economical option is to buy a membership of their own student union, as the Zone Sport Pass is included within the membership along with the services of all six student unions. This way you get the sport services and also a chance take part in other interesting activities organized around the Capital Region.
The students of Humak and Diak can purchase the Sport Pass as an additional service, as it is not automatically included in their student union membership.
Sport Passes are also sold without the student union membership.

WHAT DO THE SPORT SERVICES INCLUDE?
With a Sport Pass you get access to instructed classes, ball sports, free sport hall reservations, gyms and Yogobe Online Yoga Service.
In addition, Zone organizes a wide range of sport activities during the academic year, including ball sport courses and tournaments, and offers all UAS students the opportunity to book paid court reservations from sport halls even without a Sport Pass.
With a separate Gym Pass you only get access to the gyms.
Here is the schedule of our services during academic year 2020/2021:
– Fall season 7.9.-16.12.2020 (instructed activities until 27.11.2020)
– Spring season 11.1.-28.5.2021 (instructed activities until 7.5.2021)
